1. “Improve Posture” Discussion
After you check out the 2 minutes video on how to walk better: improve your posture, share your
thoughts and anything you notice about your own posture/walk.
2. “Progress and Intentions” Discussion
Take a few moments to reflect on your walking/physical activity over the past five
weeks. Share/summarize one or two specific things you have learned as well as identifying at
least one or two specific markers assessing your progress so far. For example, you might share
changes/progress in the distance or intensity or time you are walking; more challenging
courses/terrain as well as subjective measures like feeling less winded or out of breath walking
upstairs or improved mood or specific improvements in walking mechanics, posture etc.
Secondly, set and share one specific goal/objective/intention for the second half of the
course. For example, you may want to walk a 5 K or do one of the 32 hikes on the Finger Lakes
trail or…..?? I can’t wait to see what you come up with! Keep it fun!!!
